Associate Director for Education. Anacostia Museum and Center for African American History and Culture (September 1984 to present). Responsibilities: establish educational policy and provide direction for outreach services, programs, and services.

Curator of Collections and Education. Fisk University Museum of Art. Nashville, Tennessee (September 1973 to July 1984). Responsibilities: wrote news releases, photographed the collection, researched local history, organized and installed art exhibitions, and provided consultation on the Carl Van Vechten Gallery renovation project.
