Propose An Exhibit
ValentineNewYork is always excited to learn of exhibits (physical/online) that might appeal to our constituents. Our policy prohibits use from accepting proposals directly from the artist represented in the exhibition, and therefore all proposals must be submitted through an independent curator, museum or museum affiliation, or community art organization.
If you have an exhibit (physical/online) that you would like us to consider for touring, please submit the following:
- Thesis statement on the exhibition.
- Preliminary checklist.
- 20 slides of objects on the preliminary checklist.
- Outline of the proposed publication, if any.
- Curriculum vitae of guest curator and any contributing authors.
Please make sure that all slides are labeled with the artist name, title of the work, dimensions, orientation, and medium, or provide a slide list with this information. Our staff will review the slide and abstract and offer suggestions about how to develop a formal proposal for our Staff.
